Terms and Conditions

Renters are urged to reserve equipment as early as possible to ensure getting the equipment that you will need. All equipment is rented on a first-come, first-served basis.

Any problems with equipment must be reported immediately to Pixel Connection for adjustment consideration. It is the responsibility of the renter to have sufficient knowledge and experience to operate the equipment. While our staff is always available to answer questions, we cannot assume liability for the renter’s inability to correctly operate the equipment. The person renting this equipment accepts the equipment described and states that it was in good condition at the time received. The renter agrees to pay the rental fee for the period the equipment is used and further agrees to return the equipment in good condition at the end of the rental period. The renter also agrees to pay for any damages to or loss of the rented equipment occurring during the rental period. Repairs will be charged at the current rates. A full day’s rental shall be charged even for a partial day’s use. The renter agrees to pay the regular rental rate for each day that the equipment is in their possession or until it is returned. The renter will also pay Pixel Connection for any charges incurred to recover equipment that is not returned by the specified time due. In the event the rental is not returned 3 days after the due date, the item will be considered purchased and the Renter's credit card will be charged for the full retail amount of the item. If the overdue charges are denied by the renter’s credit card, and the renter has not contacted Pixel Connection to make immediate payment of the overdue rental, Pixel Connection reserves the right to pursue all civil and criminal remedies in the case of unreturned or lost equipment. Pixel Connection retains title to the equipment and the right to end the lease and take possession of the equipment if it is not returned on request. Pixel Connection will not be liable for loss of revenues or profits, inconvenience, expenses of substitute equipment, loss of use, incidental, consequential damages, loss or damage to software, digital media, and content.

Insurance and Deposit

The Renter is fully responsible for any loss or damage due to negligence, theft, improper installation, and/or operation of all rented equipment. A deposit for the full replacement cost of the equipment is required at the time of pick-up. Acceptable forms of deposit are cash and major credit card. Checks will not be accepted for deposit. Proof of adequate insurance coverage for the full replacement value of the equipment may be required prior to rental based on equipment of high value. A verifiable certificate of insurance will be required in these cases.

Rental Day

The rental can be picked up 2 hours before store closure the day before the reservation begins and are due back by 12pm the final day of the reservation. Additional days following initial rental terms are billed in 24-hour increments. Returns after the specified due time are subject to an additional full days charge. If being shipped, the rental begins when we ship it and ends when it is received at our store.

Cancellations

There will be no cancellations and no refunds after the equipment is picked up by The Renter. If an order is canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup date, a Cancellation Fee of a single day rental fee, at the single day rate, will be applied to the credit card used to place the reservation.

Ownership

All Rental Equipment is, and shall remain, the sole and exclusive property of Pixel Connection. The Renter will have no right, title, or interest other than expressly set forth in this binding Lease. If you choose to purchase an item you have rented from our rental department, the following applies to the purchase of the same equipment: Up to one rental charge can be applied to the purchase of the same equipment, that is new stock on the same day the rental is returned.

Inspection

Equipment must be inspected by The Renter upon Rental Pickup and will be deemed to be in good, working condition once the equipment has been accepted and has left Pixel Connection. Pixel Connection shall keep the Equipment in good repair, condition, and overall working order; and shall furnish any and all parts, mechanisms, and devices to keep the Equipment in good, mechanical working order. The Renter shall not, in any way, shape, or form, repair or alter the leased Equipment. Any modification or tampering to the leased Equipment will render the Equipment as Broken and may result in a fee up to the replacement cost of the item at the current Pixel Connection selling price.

Warranties & Guarantees

Pixel Connection makes no warranty, either expressed or implied, to any matter whatsoever, including the condition of the equipment. We make no guarantees of compatibility with any third-party accessories, including any apps or phones used in the operation of the leased Equipment. Furthermore, Pixel Connection will not absolve any of The Renter's costs or fees if the leased Equipment is rendered unusable by what is determined to be User Error. User Error will be defined as an ignorance pertaining to the usage of an item, or an item's features during the lease Term. Pixel Connection shall not be responsible for any loss of data due to equipment malfunction or otherwise, or for the loss of any data that is stored on any rented media storage devices.

Returning Equipment

Upon the expiration or early termination of the Lease, The Renter will return the Equipment to Pixel Connection in good repair, condition, and general working order; ordinary wear and tear from proper use excluded. All contents and accessories must be included upon return. If any contents and/or accessories are missing the renter will continue to be charged per rental day until everything is returned. Ordinary wear and tear will be determined at the sole discretion of Pixel Connection's Staff, within the confines of the reasonably common and ordinary meanings of those terms. When an order has been selected to be shipped, Pixel Connection will package the Equipment to ensure the safe arrival of the leased Equipment to The Renter. The Renter will be responsible for the proper packaging of the return shipment, using the shipping and packaging materials as provided by Pixel Connection in the Initial Order Shipment. Pixel Connection's acceptance of the Equipment upon delivery does not represent Pixel Connection's determination as of the condition of the Leased Equipment. Pixel Connection reserves the right to accept Equipment upon return by The Renter and make determinations regarding the condition of the Equipment within 7 (seven) days of receipt. Pixel Connection's determination as to the condition of the Equipment, upon return by The Renter, is binding under this Section and the Section entitled "Lost, Damaged, or Un-returned Equipment".

Lost, Damaged, or Unreturned Equipment

The Renter, upon acceptance of the Leased Equipment, will assume and bear the entire risk of loss and/or damage to the Equipment from any and every cause, whatsoever. No loss or damage to the Equipment, or any part thereof, will impair any obligation of The Renter under this Lease, which shall continue in full force and effect through the Term of the Lease as defined in the Section entitled "Term". In the event of damage of any kind, whatsoever, to the Equipment, The Renter agrees to allow Pixel Connection to charge, garnish, or obligate The Renter, at Pixel Connection's sole discretion, for the full cost of the repair of said damaged Equipment. Pixel Connection reserves the right to choose the repair method and venue, within reasonable market value terms. The Renter agrees to be bound legally, and otherwise, by the report of Pixel Connection's chosen repair venue, to the cause of the damage to the Leased Equipment, and all cost associated with the repair. The Renter will also be required to pay the lost rental income, as a result of the Equipment being returned in a non-rentable state, and shall continue to pay any lost rental income until the damaged Equipment is fully repaired, and able to be rented again.
